INTRODUCTION OF RAMESWARAM – FAIZABAD – RAMESWARAM VIA AYODHYA WEEKLY EXPRESS BY HON’BLE PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA
Train No.16793 / 16794 Rameswaram – Faizabad – Rameswaram via Ayodhya weekly express train services are to be introduced.
Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Thiru Narendra Modi will flag off the inaugural special train from Rameswaram to Faizabad via Ayodhya through video conferencing at Mandapam, Ramanathapuram District on 27.07.2017.
The Inaugural Special Train:
The inaugural special train numbered as 06793 will leave Rameswaram at 12.30 hrs. on 27.07.2017, leave Chennai Egmore at 03.20 hrs. on 28.07.2017 and reach Faizabad at 23.00 hrs. on 29.07.2017.
Enroute, the inaugural special train will stop at Manamadurai, Tiruchchirappalli, Thanjavur, Villupuram, Chennai Egmore, Gudur, Vijayawada, Warangal, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Allahabad, Jaunpur and Ayodhya.

The regular service of Train No.16793 / 16794 Rameswaram – Faizabad – Rameswaram via Ayodhya weekly express will commence on 06.08.2017, Sunday from Rameswaram.and on 09.08.2017, Wednesday from Faizabad.
The timings and stoppages are provided below:
Composition:AC 2-tier – 1, AC 3-tier – 2, Sleeper Class – 8, General Second Class – 4, Pantry Car – 1 & Luggage-cum-Brake van with accommodation for the differently-abled – 2 coaches.
