GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE 2017 – The Indian Railways
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
In view of emerging requirements, there is an urgent need to induct modern technology on Indian Railways. Towards this objective, Ministry of Railways (Government of India) is organizing ‘Global Technology Conference (GTC-IR)’, for assessing contemporary global technologies, relevant for adoption on Indian Railways. The Conference shall be a multi-disciplinary platform for the Industry, Academia and Research Fraternity across the World to interact with Experts of Indian Railways for identification of appropriate cutting edge technologies and systems available worldwide for adaptation and deployment on Indian Railways and Public Sector Undertakings under Ministry of Railways.
The Conference shall focus on critical areas relevant to Indian Railways – Safety, Reliability, Capacity Enhancement and Customer Service. The Conference is being organized under the combined banner of ‘Institute of Rolling Stock Engineers (IRSE)’ and ‘Institution of Railway Signal and Telecommunication Engineers’ (IRSTE) at Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi on 3rd and 4th May 2017.
