Eastern Railway to Run Special Train between Howrah & Rampurhat for Kaushiki Amavasya Mela

To clear the expected heavy rush of pilgrims and passengers during Kaushiki Amavasya Mela at Tarapith, Eastern Railway’s Howrah Division has arranged to run Special train from Howrah to Rampurhat and back for three (3) days on 14.9.2023 (Thursday), 15.9.2023 (Friday) & 16.9.2023 (Saturday).

The Howrah-Rampurhat Special will leave Howrah station at 5:45 hrs. to reach Rampurhat at 9:50 hrs. on the same day and Rampurhat-Howrah Special will leave Rampurhat at 11:06 hrs. to reach Howrah at 15:05 hrs. on the same day. The special train will stop at Sheoraphuli, Bandel, Barddhaman, Guskara, Bolpur (Shantiniketan) and Sainthia stations in both directions. The train will have general second class coaches.
