Central Railway, Mumbai Division will operate Mega Block on its suburban sections for carrying out various engineering and maintenance works on 27.8.2023

Thane – Kalyan Up and Dn fast lines from 10.40 am to 3.40 pm

DN fast / semi – fast services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus(CSMT) Mumbai from 09.30 am to 2.45 pm will be diverted on DN slow line between Thane and Kalyan stations halting at Kalva, Mumbra and Diva stations in addition to their respective halts and will arrive destination 10 minutes later than their schedule arrival.

UP fast / semi – fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.28 am to 03.25 pm will be diverted on UP slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations halting at Diva, Mumbra and Kalva stations in addition to their respective halts and further re – diverted on UP fast line at Mulund station and will arrive destination 10 minutes later than their schedule arrival.

DN Mail / Express trains leaving CSMT / Dadar will be diverted on 5th line between Thane and Kalyan stations.

UP Mail / Express trains arriving CSMT / Dadar will be diverted on 6th line between Kalyan and Thane / Vikhroli stations.

Panvel – Vashi UP and DN harbour lines ( including BSU line between Nerul and Kile & Trans – harbour line between Turbhe and Nerul) from 11.05 am to 4.05 pm

UP Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Panvel from 10.33 am to 03.49 pm and DN Harbour line services to Panvel / Belapur leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 09.45 am to 03.12 pm will remain suspended.

UP Transharbour line services towards Thane leaving Panvel from 11.02 am to 03.53 pm and DN Transharbour line services towards Panvel leaving Thane from 10.01 am to 03.20 pm will remain suspended.

UP Transharbour line services towards Thane leaving Nerul from 10.50 am to 04.09 pm and DN Transharbour line services towards Nerull leaving Thane from 10.55 am to 04.33 pm will remain suspended.

Dn line services for Kharkopar leaving Nerul from 11.40 am to 03.45 pm and UP line services for Nerul leaving Kharkopar from 10.25 am to 02.25 pm will remain cancelled.

Local train services between Belapur and Kharkopar will run as per schedule during the block period.

Special local trains will run on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai – Vashi section during the block period.

Trans – harbour line services will be available between Thane – Vashi stations during the block period.

These maintenance mega blocks are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.

Special Night Traffic and Power Block on Down and Up South-East lines on the Kalyan-Ambarnath section for shifting of FOB columns from Platform no 1 to 2 at Ulhasnagar station and Erection work by Hydra M/c at km 57/10-12 on 26/27-08-2023 (Saturday /Sunday midnight)

Block Details:

• Night traffic and power block for shifting of FOB columns from Platform no 1 to 2 at Ulhasnagar station and Erection work by Hydra M/c at km 57/10-12

Section of Block:

• Kalyan to Ambarnath Down South-East lines & Ambarnath to Kalyan Up South-East lines (excluding both Kalyan and Ambarnath stations)

Date, Time & Duration of Block:

• 26/27-08-2023 (Saturday /Sunday midnight)
• From 01.10 hrs to 02.10 hrs (1 hour)

Due to this the train running pattern will be as under:

• Local for Ambarnath departing CSMT at 23.51 hrs and Local for CSMT departing Ambarnath at 22.01 hrs and 22.15 hrs will remain cancelled.
• Local for Ambarnath departing CSMT at 00.04 hrs will be terminated at Kurla.
• Local for Karjat departing CSMT at 00.25 hrs will be regulated at Kalyan station from 01.51 to 02.10 hrs.
• Movement of freight trains between Kalyan and Ambarnath will be suspended during the block period.

Special Traffic Block on Down and UP Harbour & Trans-harbour lines at Juinagar station for commissioning of 4 new EMU stabling sidings with provision of Electronic Interlocking at Juinagar station from 25.8.2023(Friday) to 27.8.2023(Sunday).

It is planned to construct 4 new EMU sidings at Juinagar station for daily stabling of EMU suburban local trains. Construction of these 4 new EMU suburban sidings will help to decongest daily stabling of EMU rakes at Panvel and Vashi platforms. It will also decongest Sanpada car shed stabling lines.

Stabling of EMU rakes on these new stabling lines at Juinagar will also facilitate examination of EMU rakes.

Details of block to be undertaken for construction of these stabling lines is as below:

Block Details:

• Special traffic block for commissioning of stabling sidings with provision of Electronic Interlocking at Juinagar station

Section of Block:

• Down and Up Harbour & Trans-harbour lines at Juinagar end of Sanpada car shed (Bay line 1 & 2)

Date, Time & Duration of Block:

• From 25.8.2023 ( Friday) 08.00 hrs to 27.8.2023 (Sunday) 15.30 hrs ( Block during day hours only)

Short Termination / Origination of suburban trains due to the block :

Following suburban trains will be terminated at Vashi on 25 / 26.8.2023 (Friday – Saturday night time) and on 26 / 27.8.2023 (Saturday-Sunday night time)

• Panvel local P-175 and P-199 leaving CSMT at 20.00 hrs and 22.50 hrs respectively.
• Belapur local BR-57 & BR-59 leaving CSMT at 21.38 hrs and 21.58 hrs respectively.

Following suburban trains will originate from Vashi on 25 / 26.8.2023 (Friday – Saturday night time)

• Belapur – Vadala Road local BRVD-2 leaving Belapur CBD at 05.50 hrs and
• Belapur – CSMT local BR-16 leaving Belapur at 07.04 hrs.

Repercussions due to the block:

• Entry and Exit from / to Juinagar end of Sanpada carshed will not be available. Harbour and Trans-harbour services will also not available during Sunday block.
