Opportunity for Marketing of Tant Handloom Sarees & Handloom Textile under ‘One Station One Product’ Scheme

In a big stride towards ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, Eastern Railway is providing opportunity for self-help groups, NGOs, cooperatives dealing with Tant Handloom Sarees & Handloom Textile to showcase their products at busy Railway stations for enriching the customer base of local products viz Tant Handloom Sarees & Handloom Textile under ‘one Station one Product’ scheme. Now this golden opportunity of marketing will be available at Howrah station for which an exhibition stall will be allowed to open for 15 days w.e.f. 25.3.2022 at a nominal token fee of Rs.500/-. The necessary infrastructure will be provided by Railways. In case of large number of applications received for participation, to set up stall / kiosk at Howrah Railway station, an open lottery/public draw will be arranged for the sake of selection.

Detailed application, for setting up stall / kiosk at Howrah station, should be addressed to The Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager / Eastern Railway / Howrah, Rail Yatri Niwas Building (4th floor), Howrah station, Howrah – 711101 which is to be submitted in the letterhead/plain white sheet of paper having all the details of the Self Help Groups (SHG) / NGOs / Co-operatives dealing with Tant Handloom Sarees & Handloom Textile and is to be deposited within 15.00 hrs. of 22.3.2022 at this address.
