Extension of 06521/06522 Yesvantpur -Hazrat Nizamuddin- Yesvantpur Weekly Super fast Special Train To/Fro Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra from 04.04.2019

For the convenience of rail passengers, Railways have decided to extend the 06521/06522 Yesvantpur -Hazrat Nizamuddin- Yesvantpur weekly superfast Special train to/from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra from 04.04.2019 as per the following programme:-

The 06521 Yesvantpur – Hazrat Nizamuddin weekly superfast special train will departing from Yesvantpur on every Thursday from 04.04.2019 to 20.06.2019 at 06.30 a.m. will be extended to run upto Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. It will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin at 03.50 a.m. to reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 06.50 p.m. the same day .

In the return direction, the 06522 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra- Yesvantpur weekly superfast special train will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra on every Monday from 08.04.2019 to24.06.2019at 05.40 a.m. to reach Yesvantpur at 03.00 p.m. the next day.

Comprising of one A.C. 2 Tier , three A.C. 3 Tier , six sleeper class, two general class& two disabled friendly second class cum luggage van coaches , the 06521/06522 Yesvantpur – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra- Yesvantpur weekly superfast Special train on its extended portion will stop at New Delhi, Ambala Cantt., Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt., Pathankot Cantt., Jammu Tawi & Udhampur stations enroute in both the directions .

There is no change in timingsand existing stoppages of 06521/06522 Special train between Yesvantpur and Hazrat Nizamuddin stations.

Shri Piyush Goyal announces Extension of 22 Pairs of Train Services Running on Indian Railways System

Extension of trains will help in development of the regions & will help to utilize resources to the full extent

Minister of Railways & Coal, Shri Piyush Goyal announced extension of 22 pairs of train services running on Indian Railways’ system in Rail Bhavan today. These will provide additional connectivity between various places in the country. Chairman, Railway Board, Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav, Member Traffic, Railway Board, Shri Girish Pillai and other senior officers were present on the occasion.

Speaking of the occasion, Shri Piyush Goyal said, to reduce additional lie-over time of the trains and emphasising on “sweating the assets”, we have decided extension of numerous trains across various Zones of Indian Railways. He added that the first successful experiment of extension was introduced on Gatiman Express, which was extended from Agra to Gwalior and then to Jhansi. Accordingly, the following extension of 22 pairs of train services will help in development of these areas and will also help to utilize our resources to the full extent.

All these extensions have been planned by utilizing the lie-over periods of the existing trains at their respective terminating stations. These extensions will help in more gainful utilization of Coaching Stock and will augment revenue of Indian Railways. The above trains are extended using present assets with maximum utilization.

Flag off extension of Train No. 11206 Nizamabad – LTT (Mumbai) Weekly Express up to Karimnagar

Shri Rajen Gohain, Hon’ble Minister of State of Railways, Govt. of India will dedicate various Rail developmental works, laying of foundation stone to a host of passenger amenities and infrastructural works and Flagging off the extension of Nizamabad – Mumbai LTT weekly express train up to Karimnagar  at Secunderabad Railway Station

Shri Rajen Gohain, Hon’ble Minister of State of Railways, Govt. of India will dedicate/lay the foundation stone for various rail developmental works, passenger amenities/facilities and flag off the extension of Nizamabad – Mumbai LTT weekly express train up to Karimnagar at a function to be held at Secunderabad Railway Station at 15.00 hrs on 26th September, 2018.

• Dedicate of Electronic Passenger Guidance Systems at Malkajgiri Railway Station to the Nation
• Commission of Extended Platforms 1 & 2 at Arts College MMTS Railway Station
• Lay the foundation stone for New Foot Over Bridge at Lallaguda Gate Railway Station
• Lay the foundation stone for Extension of Foot Over Bridge at Bolarum Railway Station
• Lay the foundation stone for 1 Lift (on PF No.6/7) at Secunderabad Railway station
• Lay the foundation stone for 2 Lifts (on PF No.1&2) at Begumpet Railway station
• Lay the foundation stone for 2 Escalators (on PF No.1 & 6) at Lingampalli Railway station

Simultaneously a function will be held at Kazipet Railway Station to lay the foundation stone for various rail developmental works/passenger amenities. Shri Dr.B.Prakash, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, (Rajya Sabha); Shri G.Mohan Rao, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Shri P.Dayakar, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Warangal will be distinguished guests for the function along with other public representatives and officials.

A function will be held at Karimnagar Railway Station to flag off the extended train service of Train No. 11206 Nizamabad – Lokmanyatilak (Mumbai) Weekly Express up to Karimnagar. Shri V.Laxmikanta Rao, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha); Shri J.Santosh Kumar, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Shri B.Vinod Kumar, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Karimnagar will be distinguished guests for the function along with other public representatives and officials.

A function will be held at Manchiryal Railway Station to dedicate Third Railway Line in Manchiryal – Peddampet Section to the Nation. Shri B.Suman, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Peddapalli will be distinguished guest for the function along with other public representatives and officials.
